Pages: 1 | 2 The Chateau is 160 years old. Built during the reign of Louis Philippe, not for defence but to impress. The 9 acre park surrounding the Chateau provides a restful environment.
All of our rooms have pretty views, either over the village with its ancient church or the gardens with their tree lined alleys. In the licensed bar, as a guest of the Chateau, you can sit and relax on the terrace with your Gin & Tonic or try a bottle of something from our wine cellars (our wines are selected by noted wine connoisseur and writer, Helen Savage), while enjoying complimentary hors d’oeuvres at the end of the day.
The Chateau’s kitchen is always “Gluten Free” throughout the year (for our Holidays for coeliacs please visit www.chateaudevillars.co.uk) Sorry, but no pets are permitted at the Chateau. It’s the territory of the Owners Pembroke Corgis! And, for insurance and safety reasons, smoking is only permitted outside on the terraces or in the grounds, and where it does not disturb the comfort of our non-smoking guests. Thank you for your consideration.
