BY PLANE: To and from Limoges, Bergerac, Brive or Bordeaux airports

If you come by plane to Limoges Bellegarde airport (1 hour away), we can arrange to  collect you and bring you to the Château.  Ryanair, Flybe and AirFrance fly to and from the airport. There are flights to and from Stansted, East Midlands (Nottingham), Liverpool, Southampton, Bristol, Glasgow, Paris and Brussels. Connections can be made from Dublin, Belfast and Edinburgh.

Bergerac airport is also close by (1 hour and 15 minutes) – easy for you to drive to us from (renting a car) and we can also arrange pick up.  You can fly to Bergerac  from Gatwick, Manchester, Edinburgh, Exeter, Bristol, Leeds, Newcastle, Nottingham or Glasgow

Or try Gatwick, Birmingham, Luton or Dublin to Bordeaux.

We’re easy to reach!

From the USA and Canada: Check out flights into Paris, London or Brussels – and connect to Bordeaux.  From Charles de Gaulle airport in Paris, come on to the Château by train (Charles de Gaulle airport to Angouleme for example).  And if originating in Canada, check out flights through Montreal to Paris.

For  2011 Flybe have announced a new arrangement with AirFrance which will mean you can fly from London Gatwick to Paris to Limoges.  Helpful for those arriving fro North America!

BY TRAIN: To and From London, Paris or Bordeaux

Arrive in Angouleme via Lille on Eurostar from St. Pancras International, from Paris’ Charles de Gaulle airport or from Paris Montparnasse station. There is a dedicated bus connection to Brantome from Angouleme or we can send a taxi to Angouleme for you.  Or, if you are already in Paris, come by train from Gare d’Austerlitz direct to Limoges and on to Thiviers.

Thiviers is our local station and is 15 minutes away from the Château. We can arrange to collect you from there. Trains arrive in Thiviers from Limoges and from Bordeaux. From Bordeaux airport, take the Jet shuttle bus to the train station, where a train will take you to Perigueux and change for Thiviers.

BY CAR: To and From your home!

Fly to us and rent a car: the Château is approximately 60 minutes from Limoges airport or Limoges St. Benedictin train station. Bordeaux airport is about 2 hours away by car.
